Machinery – Deceased was ratchetting in a coal cutter bar preparatory to recommencing to cut. When the bar was slewed in about half way, he told the machineman to start the machine, and he did so, but seeing something was wrong with his mate he stopped it again. On going to the rear end of the machine he found that deceased had been gripped by the picks in the revolving bar, and was in a mutilated condition.
