Fall of roof. Coal was being worked a stall from between two slips and deceased worked the coal out from 72 square feet and under the two slips with only one prop supporting the roof. Langham was killed by a fall of roof, and Hickman went towards him when a further fall occurred and killed him also. No bars had been set although the two slips were well known to the workmen. Another man had a near escape. 2 killed.
