Deceased was assisting another machineman to turn a bar machine which had got to the end of the cut. The bar was revolving in the open and he stepped alongside of it to get a prop which was required, when his trouserleg was caught by the pick points and he was drawn down and fearfully lacerated from head to feet. He died about an hour later.
