At face coal, 10.5 ft. by 18 ins. by 3 ft. thick. The collier, with whom deceased worked, had removed a sprag from in front of the coal, and was barring it down, when his neighbour called him to assist in moving a tram of rubbish. He told deceased to stand away, and had only just left the place when the coal fell on the led. In all probability deceased was pulling the coal down and failed to get out of its way. Four feet seam.
