- Details of Event
- Deceased was passing along the face, when a fall of coal occurred. He was knocked down and his right thigh broken. He was taken to the Guest Hospital, Dudley, in which institution he died on 7th July. A post- mortem examination showed that the heart was in bad condition and that death was due to the exudation of blood clots into the pulmonary artery, and not due to the accident.
