Deceased and his marrow were working in a broken lift 6 yards while, and as the former was stooping down near the fast side to pick out seine stones from against his coals a large stone fell on to him from the roof. The stone was bounded on its four sides by slips all inclined towards each other. The timbering distance was 4.5 feet, but as it was a very bad roof and full of slips the timber should have been set much closer.
