Fall of roof on road while repairing a stone 6 feet, by 4feet, by 13 inches in thickness fell while a piece of the side was being chipped away. Three pairs of timbers had been cut down, leaving 19 feet in length of the roof unsupported. A safer plan would have been to repair the roadway in shorter lengths. Nine Feet Seam. Safety lamps.
