He was waiting behind a full set at the inbye end of a landing when the incoming empty set bumped into the full set, and he was killed. The only feasible explanation was that the points had not been right for the empty set entering the landing. After the accident, however, the landing lad rapped the set outbye for reasons best known to himself, and when the points were examined they were found to be secured in the proper position for the empty set.
