Details of Event
Deceased was found fatally injured in front of a tram laden with coal which had been drawn up a short dip by a horse attached to a rope. The haulier and horse walked along a level piece of road while the tram was being pulled up the dip and as they were some distance from deceased the haulier did not see the accident. He died on the following day.
