He was trying to take a locker out of the wheels of a tub of dirt to which a pony was attached. The tub came off the rails and his head was crushed between it and a prop which was set about 1 ft from the road. The prop was set at about the centre of the gate end and there was ample room for deceased to have kept clear of it.
