Deceased had attached his horse to an empty tram, and was going towards the horse’s head when it started off at a trot. Deceased caught hold of a part of the harness and ran along for about 22yds, when he fell, and was run over. The undermanager was within 3 or 4yds. of deceased when the accident occurred. The horse is said to be very quiet. Why he started off is a mystery.
