Fall of roof on road, fireclay, 9ft. by 2 ft. by 18ins. thick, crushed a ‘flat’ and a prop out and fell on deceased. He and the repairer were timbering or ‘flatting’ a Barry face, preparatory to shifting the road. New seam. Died January 10th, 1907.
