Died 25th May. Deceased was injured about the head and back by a fall of roof stone in his working place in the Harvey seam longwall and never worked after the accident. He was confined to bed for the first fortnight and then was able to walk about with a stick. On May 17th he came back from Whitley Convalescent Homes, where he spent three weeks, intending to resume work but he took a chill on the 19th May and pneumonia set in from which he died. No inquest was held.
