- Fall of roof. Deceased had been getting the timber from a waste and had used a ringer and chain for the purpose. but when getting out the timber set temporarily for his protection he knocked a prop out with a hammer contrary to rule when about two tons of the rock roof fell and fatally injured him. He died 5th December.
