Details of Event
Five empty railway wagons were being drawn up an incline by a stationary engine and rope. It was deceased's duty after the rope had been uncoupled to brake the wagons running by gravity into the various roads. He was seen on the opposite side of the railway from where he worked as the set of wagons was being drawn up, and a law minutes later was found under the wagons. No one saw the occurrence, and it is presumed he was trying to get through the wagons whilst they were in motion or was trying to get on to one for a ride.
