Fall of roof at face; while clearing away coal which had been brought down by a recent shot, a portion of the side roof fell from a well-defined slip which ran diagonally across the heading. A prop set at the upper end was discharged, the weight being greater nearer the face where the roof was not supported. Brass Vein. Safety lamps.
