Burned by an explosion of gas which was ignited by a safety lamp the glass having been broken by a fall which brought the gas down from a hole in the roof. Deceased with three men was filling away the rubbish of a previous fall when a second fall occurred. Deceased died on the 20th May from exhaustion. Bute seam.
