Deceased was standing upon the top of a heap of loose stone about 17ft. above the floor of the quarry, and was barring down some stone from the quarry face above him. As it came away he stepped back, stumbled, and fell, and a quantity of stone rolled over him, causing injures from which he died on the same day.
