Deceased, on his way out, was passing through a double parting, just as an empty journey was being drawn in at a high speed. The corner of the first empty tram collided with that of the first of some full trams standing on the parting, and set them in motion. He was run over by the last of the full trams which had been only lightly "scotched," and which had evidently been drawn up too near the cross.
