Details of Event
Deceased had stopped his engine at a water supply pipe and his fireman began filling the tank. When sufficient water had been put in, the fireman went round to the other side of the locomotive and found deceased lying across the rail dead. He had been run over by a coal truck. How he got into that position, and who started the trucks from the screens, we quite failed to find out.
