Deceased was engaged in laying a turn in the back winning of a broken flat. Two pairs of gears had been set and a pair withdrawn in order to get the required space. He was dinting the floor in order to lay the sleepers, when a fall of roof occurred which canted out three pairs of gears and killed him instantly.
