Deceased was emptying a tub of dirt into a pack when a fall of roof killed him. The fireman had visited him about half an hour previously and instructed him to set another prop before removing one to make room for the pack; but whether he was setting a prop or withdrawing one, it is impossible to say. A prop and three lids were found under the debris.
