Details of Event
Fall of coal from face. Had knocked out a sprag from undermined coal. In getting out of the way of the falling coal, he either ran against a prop, or fell with his neck upon the rail. He fell full length on his back. His neck was broken. No coal on him, about 16 cwt. fell. (Died 29th.).
