Deceased was engaged in ripping down the "ley" in front of his drawing road, about 13 feet from the coal face, when a large stone, 6 feet by 3 feet by 2 feet fell from between two roughly parallel slips in the roof and pinned him to the floor inflicting injuries from which he died the same day.
