Details of Event
He was unloading a waggon of small coal at the boiler fireholes into a hopper when he fell in and was suffocated. A plank was usually placed over the hopper and if it had been in position he could not have fallen in. Since this accident occurred an iron grate cover has been placed over the hopper.
