Deceased's duties were to trim the dross waggons. The waggons are partly filled at one screen and are moved forward to another screen to be loaded out; in moving from one screen to other they pass under a beam used support for part of the coal clear plant. A waggon had been partly loaded was moved forward by the waggon shifter the boy had been inside waggon spreading the dross remained there while it was moved and apparently he had leant over the end while it passed under beam and was crushed. The space between the top of waggon and beam was 4 inches.
