At face an overhanging face slip of coal 7.5ft. by 4.5ft. by 18ins. thick discharged a sprag and fell on him as he was kneeling in front of it. The fall of coal knocked out a post and caused a fall of cliff, 5ft. 9ins by 4ft by 30ins. thick. The place was closely timbered but the roof was very bad. Six feet seam.
