Deceased was in a slant, on his way to work, when he was overtaken and killed by a gang consisting of three tubs of dirt. He bad only travelled 112 yards down the slant, and as it was given in evidence at the Inquest that deceased entered the slant twenty minutes before the gang was lowered, he must have been delayed through some unknown cause before the gang reached him.
