The accident happened in deceased’s working place, and was caused by a fall of roof which discharged two posts and a flat, under which deceased was apparently fixing an additional post. There was an unseen slant running upwards in the direction of the coal face. The roof bedded irregularly, and was composed of coal and rashes the fall was 10 feet by 8 feet by 21 feet thick. Nine feet seam.
