He was lifting a tub on the rails in the Crank Seam workings when he appears to have injured himself internally. He died on June 7th at the Wrexham Infirmary. After hearing the evidence and the result of the post-mortem examination, the jury found that the deceased died from the effects of the accident, caused by the sudden exertion of lifting the tub.
