- Deceased was engaged in "spunnying" a tub of dirt down a brow, when the prop to which the pulley was attached gave way, struck ins head, and knocked him down. His head was cut and spine injured, and he died on the following day. A Collier had moved the jig prop up nearer to the face, but had not tried it in its new position. It was well let in at the foot, but the wedge at the head gave way.
