Deceased, who was an old employee of the Company, was hoeing turnips on a piece of waste ground near the top of the quarry. He was known to be subject to fits, but some months had elapsed since his last attack. He appeared to have taken a fit or to have been overcome by the excessive heat, and to have fallen into the quarry, which at this point was 82ft. deep.
