Deceased was shovelling dirt from ripping in a breasting level into an adjacent pack when a piece of roof, which was considered bad and to which he and another, after attempting to pull it down, had set a post with a good lid, fell and struck him on the head. It is probable that the post, which had been set on a footlid, was disturbed by the movement of the surrounding debris which deceased was shovelling.
