Inspection made and inquest attended. He lashed four empty tubs to the endless rope motion jig and signalled them away and as he was finishing his work for the day he went for his lamp which had been hung which he hung up a little distance up the jig and got crushed by the empty tubs which struck him apparently when he was reaching across the rope for his lamp. He succumbed to the injuries received 20th Oct.
