In waste of working place whilst packing, a bar 6 feet long with only one leg under one end of bar set under a pothole, the inside of the pot-hole fell breaking down the bar and breaking back of deceased. Fireman visited place an hour before accident, saw pothole saw there was no prop under one end of the bar, yet failed in his duty. He ought to have seen a prop put up. Death 25 February.
