Fall of roof (coal) in a waste at working face in Yard seam. While preparing to draw the timber from under some top coal which had been prepared for dropping it fell on him. The piece of coal was about 9 feet by 3 feet 6 inches by 2 feet 3inches thick it was detached on two sides cut up on one side and liberated by a break on the fourth side and supported by three posts. It was supposed that Hollins was cutting round the lid on one of the posts before drawing it with a pulling jack which he had at hand.
