He was in charge of a horse, and was leaving a passbye with 10 full tubs. There was one locker in the first tub, he appears to have eased this to allow the horse to start. The horse jerked forward and threw the first tub off the rails, and deceased was fatally injured by being crushed between it and some standing tubs on the other line. The horse was known to be a quiet one, and the clearance between the two sets of tubs on the passbye was 12 inches.
