- He and his marrow were just about to fill a tub when the whole face of their place fell away knocking out one prop and crushing him against a second one. There was nothing to account for the coal falling in to such a manner; there was very little holing done - not more than 4 inches. His marrow escaped unhurt, and also did the deputy who was in the place at the time.
