Several tons of earth, shale, and stone fell from the top on to a ledge 30 feet below; fragments went over a ledge 26ft. wide on to another ledge 12ft. below; one of these fragments struck deceased on the head. The fall came from a back which, it was alleged, had not been seen by the examiner. Died 24th.
