Deceased and a loader were taking a loaded tub out of the stall face down a short length of stall road to a junction where the horse stood. The road dipped at a gradient of about 1 in 9, and instead of both being behind the tub, deceased was in front walking backwards while the loader pushed from behind. When nearing the junction, deceased, in stepping aside to let the tub pass, stepped in front of a tree, against which he was caught and so severely crushed by the tub that he died on the same evening. The accident was due to a breach of General Regulation 26.
