Details of Event
He was holding a light whilst his trammer knocked out a prop with a hammer. When the prop was displaced a small piece of shale fell front the roof on to his back. His injuries appeared to be slight, but he was a very delicate man and died on 30th April from heart failure. The doctors considered that the accident hastened his death.
