Inspection made and inquest attended. A fall of roof occurred upon the deceased at the face of a roadway who was working with his father. The latter stated at the inquiry that he thought the roof was getting stronger the last bar be had set was 8ft. back from the face. The fall came between three slips the cause of accident being insufficient timbering.
