On road cliff by 5ft. by 3.5ft by 12ins. thick. Deceased had for some days been ripping down a bed, 12 to 15 ins. thick to make more height and on the day of the accident had just knocked out a partly rotten prop from under the bed he intended to rip down, when it fell on him and his assistant. Had deceased used a mechanical appliance for prop drawing the accident would in all probability have been prevented. Two feet nine seam.
