A waggon had been left with brake pinned down at the top of the screens about 300 yards above them Two other waggons where shot against the standing on a shot when brake failed to hold it ran down the gradient it collided against three others and this forced them over the brake which was holding them. He was crossing the line and fatally injured. It was afterwards found that waggon was defective.
