Fall of roof on road (a double parting); while removing a ‘bridge’ during the weekend, a portion of roof, about 20ft square and 2.5ft. thick, fell suddenly, three out of the six men engaged were buried by the fall. The roof had not been timbered where the fall occurred. 3 killed.
