A timber drawer was letting a tram of rubbish down a steep place on a main haulage road, when it overpowered him and ran wild through his not having obtained assistance in the usual manner. It bumped into a full tram of coal which stood on the road causing it run wild and against the door deceased was in charge of. The door was smashed and the boy’s skull fractured. The timber drawer was entirely and seriously to blame. (Mechanical haulage).
