Deceased, while carrying a sheet of iron on his shoulders across a road on which four wagons filled with small-coal were being shunted was knocked down and one wheel passed over his legs. The sheet of iron evidently prevented him from seeing the approaching wagons. He was removed to the Cardiff Infirmary where it was found necessary to amputate one of his legs. He never rallied, but died in a few hours.
