Details of Event
Six full tubs were being sent out of the cross gateway of a plane where they were hauled by a small air engine. The set was signalled away and then stopped one of the tubs having apparently caught against the roof timber. The corporal examined the set but saw nothing so signalled again to the engineman. As soon as the set started a second time the rope broke and the tubs ran back and caught and killed the deceased. Died 01-06-1904.
