23 April 1915: Holytown - Fatal Colliery Accident - James Halliman (36), who resided at Nimmo's Rows, New Stevenston, has died in the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow, from injuries sustained while at work in No.8 Pit, Holytown Colliery.
