- Details of Event
- Deceased was found lying insensible by the side of an underground electric haulage motor house and although artificial respiration was kept up for nearly two hours he never regained consciousness. No person saw the accident occur, but it is probable he was attempting to investigate the cause of sparking and flashing on an ammeter without first having taken the precaution to switch off the current and make it dead. The screws attaching the ammeter to the switchboard were found to have been partly unscrewed.
